To discuss the North American waste management industry, we are pleased to host a call with Jeff Feeler, former CEO of US Ecology, a full service North American environmental services provider acquired in 2022 by Republic Services, for $2.2 billion. During his tenure at US Ecology. Mr. Feeler grew revenue from $169m to $988m per year, and generated 264% EBITDA growth from $58m to $154m per year.
Mr. Feeler currently serves as a member of the board of directors for Bioenergy Devco, a leading operator of anaerobic digestion facilities. He is also a board member for Milestone Environment Services, an environmental services and carbon management company and the largest independent energy waste sequestration company in the U.S. He also serves on the board of Environmental 360 Solutions, a Canadian national environmental services provider.
We are hosting Mr. Feeler given the recent uptick in interest we’ve seen in the North American waste management industry. On May 23, GFL International was pitched as a long by an investor at one of our idea events.
