On October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. ET we are hosting a second call on Generative AI and its impact on the Data Center with Kevin Dalton, an electrical engineer and Chief Data Center Officer at Cumulus Data which has developed a tailor made data center for generative AI. Mr. Dalton specializes in data center for A.I. applications and can speak to the design, construction, and procurement of both traditional data centers and Generative AI. Data centers supporting AI have different infrastructure requirements than traditional data centers. During our call Kevin will be providing insight into the most advanced data center infrastructures which vendors into data centers are positioned with the best technology and the health of their supply chain, as well as what hyperscalers/data centers are positioned to meet the needs of AI among other topics.
Bio: Kevin Dalton is an electrical engineer and Chief Data Center Officer (Aug. 2021-) at Cumulus Data, based in Andover, Mass. Mr. Dalton specializes in data center for A.I. applications and can speak to the biggest challenges facing AI datacenters. He was previously SVP Design, Construction & CFED at NTT Global Data centers Americas (Apr 2020–Sep 2021), before that SVP Engineering & Construction for Raging Wire Data centers (Nov 2018–Apr 2020), and before that he spent 12 years at Digital Realty, where he was VP of Global Engineering. Mr. Dalton can speak to all aspects of A.I. datacenter design, construction, and procurement.
