On September 26th at 1:00 p.m. ET we are hosting a discussion on Generative AI and its impact on the Data Center we are hosting a call with Spiros Liolis, Senior Data Center Strategist and Chief Technologist for EYP Mission Critical Facilities. Data centers supporting AI have different infrastructure requirements than traditional data centers. During our call Spiros will be providing insight into the most advanced data center infrastructures including cooling, power systems, which vendors (ABB, Eaton, Schneider Electric, and Vertiv) are positioned with the best technology and the health of their supply chain, as well as what hyperscalers/data centers are positioned to meet the needs of AI among other topics.

Bio: Spiros Liolis is the Senior Data Center Strategist and Chief Technologist for EYP Mission Critical Facilities, a division of Copenhagen-based engineering consultancy Ramboll Group. He is an electrical engineering expert in the design, deployment, and commissioning of data centers of all sizes from smaller 1-2 MW centers to 25MW hyperscalers. EYP clients include DLR, Equinix, Compass, GCP, AWS, and Azure. Mr. Liolis also serves as a consultant on projects for ABB, Eaton, Schneider Electric, and Vertiv. Mr. Liolis is an expert in helping these companies configure the correct cooling and power systems needed in their A.I. data centers. He is routinely experimenting with these companies on the latest technologies in data chips, immersion cooling and other areas. Mr. Liolis spent 20 years at HP Inc., where he most recently served as Emerging Technologies Consulting Director and CTO (2017-2019). After HP, he held brief positions at Amazon Web Services and IT consultancy Micro Focus. Spiros holds an MS in Engineering Management and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He also possesses multiple technical certifications and is a member of the distinguished Forbes Technology Council.
